I’m so glad you have “landed” here! The best part about our program is the people you will meet, especially the Faculty!
A bit about me. I have been working in the Airline Industry since 2003. I began my career as a Flight Attendant with Kelowna Flightcraft, as a YYZ based Flight Attendant. When a ground position at Westjet opened up in 2004, I jumped at the chance of working for the young, vibrant company new to the Toronto flying scene. I started out working as a Customer Service Agent, a relief Daily Duties Coordinator, IROP Coordinator, and finally found my “home” in the air as a Flight Attendant. While flying, I happily joined the WestJet Recruiting team in 2014 and most recently accepted a position in 2018 as a Welcome Aboard Facilitator, welcoming new employees to WestJet. In 2014, I achieved my ultimate goal and began teaching at Seneca College with Flight Services: Operation and Cabin Management teaching and mentoring my favourite type of students, future Flight Attendants. Helping students, past and present, reach their goals is very fulfilling!
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Laurentian University – specializing in History and Geography. I also have experience studying abroad in Chamberay – France at the University of Savoy. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Education at Athabasca University. Other than flying, my passions are running, travelling, and spending time with my sweet Daughter Evelyn and fiancé Mike.
