Career Placement
This is a dedicated page to guide you in choosing FSO 425 as your Professional Option in your successful completion of the Flight Services: Operations and Cabin Management Diploma Program.
Career Placement is a flexible educational program that combines an employment experience with academic study.
Prerequisites: All courses up until the 3rd Semester must be completed.
Now is your time to gain industry experience
Field placement is one of the most exciting parts of the Flight Services diploma program!
Field placement provides you with the opportunity to apply what you have learned in the classroom and gain first-hand experience in the airline industry. It also gives you room to explore and grow as future aviation professionals.
FSO425 is offered every semester of the academic year with the following schedule:
Fall Term: September to December
Winter Term: January to April
Summer Term: May to August

The total time to be completed in the Field Placement must be 150 hours within the semester.
Placement Opportunities
Students are responsible for obtaining their own placement.
The Field Placement team will also arrange interview sessions with industry partner employers, which in turn provides a work experience that enhances academic progress and increases employability.
Seneca Flights Program works in partnership with many industry employers to provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on practical experience.
Seneca has built relationships with airlines including WestJet, Air Transat, Cathay Pacific, Sky Regional and Flair Airlines.
