Veronica A.
I started my aviation career as a Flight Attendant with Canjet Airlines in 1998, joined Canada 3000 Airlines in 2000, and in 2001 I embarked in a journey that would lead me to incredible opportunities at Skyservice Airlines.
While at Skyservice Airlines, I held various positions within the airline, which allowed me to learn the many areas of the Commercial Aviation Operation. I started that journey as a Flight Attendant, subsequently I became an In-charge (Customer Service Manager), and also joined the Cabin Safety department as a Cabin Safety Instructor. It was through instructing and facilitating the many Flight Attendant training programs that I discover my passion for teaching. I have had the opportunity to teach Canadian Aviation Regulations to Flight Attendants in the UK and Ireland, and I also had the opportunity to assist in the development and implementation of other programs such as SMS.
I also held a role as a Cabin Safety Coordination, Crew Scheduler, Customer Relations Coordinator, Critical Stress Debriefer, and I was member of the Flight Attendant recruitment team. I am qualified on the A319 A320, A330, B737, B757, B767 aircrafts.
In 2016 I had to opportunity to join Seneca College where I get to do what I love every day that I come into a classroom. I feel fortunate and privileged to be part of my students’ academic journey.
I live in Oakville, On. with a little spoiled dog (Miley). I love reading, and interior decorating. I studied Adult Education at Brock University and hold a Honours International Business Diploma from Niagara College.
