Born and raised in the North West of England, I began my airline career as a Flight Attendant for London based Virgin Atlantic. My original plan to fly for one year and see the world quickly changed. I was promoted to Flight Service Manager and then advanced into the training department. After 19 years with Virgin, I accepted a position in the training department with Etihad Airways - The National Airline of the UAE and was based in Abu Dhabi. I spent 3 years designing and evaluating training programs for Etihad Flight Attendants, Cabin Managers and Food & Beverage Managers. I joined Air Canada in 2010 and spent 5 years in the training department. My initial role at Air Canada was the delivery of training programs to newly recruited as well as experienced Flight Attendants. More recently I was involved in the design of Air Canada Customer Service Training as well as Transport Canada regulatory Safety Training.
