I started my journey in the travel and tourism industry in 1990 (I am totally aging myself!), I started in the wholesale travel industry working as a call centre reservations agents, got promoted quickly to call centre supervisor, and then moved on to work behind the scene in the operations department negotiating and securing contracts with hotel chains, risk management, and capacity control. 

While I loved working in that sector of the industry, the airline sector had a very special pull to my heart, and I was hired by Skyservice airlines, when they were about to launch their charter division, I worked online as Flight Attendant , then a customer service manager, and ended my last 10 years there as a manager of cabin crew, which was a position I truly loved. It allowed me a chance to sense an individual’s potential, and explore ways to help them achieve their goals and dreams. I have come to know that the mentoring and coaching aspect of the job was what I enjoyed the most. I was at Skyservice airlines till the bitter end, and then I joined Air Canada Jazz.

I had the opportunity to join Seneca a few years ago, and this now is truly my home and passion. I love the energy and enthusiasm my students bring with them, I thoroughly enjoy our interactions, and the chance to help and make a difference in my students lives, the ultimate reward is always when I run into my former students at the airport sporting different uniforms!
