My career in aviation began in 2011 with Air Transat. I started as a Flight Attendant and soon after upgraded to Flight Director. My favourite experience at Air Transat was being featured in a marketing campaign, “Vacation Expert”, sharing my go-to spots in Mexico.
In 2017, I discovered a new passion for teaching and preparing my students for a successful career in aviation, when I became a Professor at Seneca College. With a background in business and marketing, studying at both York and Ryerson University, it is no surprise that my favourite course to teach is Airline Sales and Marketing (FSO330). Traveling around the world inspired my creativity and motivation for entrepreneurship as a Fashion Designer. Being a flight attendant inspired me to design a kitten heel for my colleagues in the airline industry and the FSO students, through my brand, House of Hayla.
