I was blessed to have stumbled upon the aviation industry 10 years ago. At the end of 2007 I had a childhood friend tell me that I would be an awesome Flight Attendant, and so I decided to look into it. I didn’t hesitate, I applied for a FA position with WestJet Airlines and GOT IT! I knew I wanted to be a part of a company that was growing and had an outstanding reputation for it’s unbelievable customer service.  I continue to enjoy flying the friendly skies and still get butterflies in my stomach each time I get to fly to a new destination!!

I graduated from the University of Windsor with an Honors Degree in Sociology and Psychology. At the start of my post secondary schooling, I thought about teaching. I admired my professors and their ability to spark the interest of the students and create the urge to learn and expand the mind. They sparked my passion to do the same. I was swept into flying right after graduation and couldn’t get enough of the Flight Attendant lifestyle and so figured my dreams of teaching would never come to fruition. And then like a magically wrapped present, my close friend told me about the Seneca Flights program. I couldn’t believe that such a perfect fitting career was out there. I have had the pleasure of teaching at Seneca since 2016 and still feels like I’m dreaming! Being able to watch my student’s eyes grow big in excitement, wonderment, and new knowledge puts a smile on my face (and her heart) each and every class.
