AirSeneca - Pinning Ceremony 2022
After two long years, we were finally able to hold an in-person Pinning Ceremony to celebrate the important milestone of our FSO students before 2022 ended.
A pinning ceremony is a significant event for flight attendant students, as it marks the completion of their training program and signifies their official entry into the aviation industry as a flight attendant.
The Seneca Flights professors "pinned" the students with their wings during the ceremony. This symbolizes the completion of their training and that they are now officially flight attendants, authorized to provide safety and comfort to passengers on flights.
It is a significant and emotional event for the students, their families, and faculty, as it marks the end of an important phase in their education and the beginning of their professional careers. The ceremony is a rite of passage and a celebration of their hard work and dedication.
It is also an opportunity to celebrate the students' achievements, to connect with fellow students, instructors and industry professionals, and to gain valuable insights and advice on how to succeed as a flight attendant.
Organized by the Flights Faculty, with the support of Seneca Alumni, the event happened last December 14, 2022 at the Flights Experiential Hub.
We are so proud of all our students and we are so excited to see you all soar high!
Credits to our student, Darius for all the videos and photos used in this blog.
